Face Masks: Responsible, Fashionable, and Dandy
AKA: Why Having Crafty Friends Can Save Lives
We're in the midst of a pandemic the likes of which we haven't seen since 1918. This monstrosity that has killed millions of people around the world, including hundreds of thousands of Americans, is called COVID-19. With that in mind I thought that I would take the time to give clear scientific, historical, and, yes, fashion, information regarding the importance of social responsibility, including wearing a mask.
For the sake of all 2,500 known deities throughout human civilization, alongside scientific fact for those disinclined to follow said 2,500 known deities throughout human civilization, Wear A Mask!. I cannot believe that our human society considers a piece of cloth so intrusive to their Fr33d0mz for them to storm state capitals in Michigan and Oregon because of a piece of cloth and stay-at-home orders to protect us all from... killing innocent people who are at high-risk for COVID-19.
People Are Dying.
Ok, now that the grim facts, based on scientific data, peer-reviewed research, and statistical data observation based on scientific data and peer-reviewed research, are all out of the way, let's talk Fashion!
Did you know that face masks can be fashionable? Absolutely yes! Here, look at these fabulous examples of face maskery (and huge kudos to Melbourne, Australia, for showing the world how it's done!)! Yes, even in 1918 people made social responsibility fashionable, or, in the example in the link, Dandy! When we have to be socially responsible to protect others, I don't see why we can't be fashionable and interesting.
Fashionable face masks can also help in our electoral process. #DragOutTheVote
Here's some inspiration for you to see that wearing a mask can be fashionable
So, in conclusion:
-- Wear A Mask
-- Be Socially Responsible
-- Make Wearing Masks Fashionable and Interesting (if anything to shame Covidiots)
